At the Suffolk Drug and Alcohol Service we provide services across the whole of Suffolk which delivers end to end drug and alcohol treatment and support for adults and young people, supports those in contact with the criminal justice system, needle syringe programme and people affected by a loved one’s drug and /or alcohol use.

We are currently recruiting an Advanced Recovery Practitioner: harm reduction to work across Suffolk.

You will be responsible for delivering excellence in all aspects of service delivery. Working closely with clinicians, recovery workers and managers, you will contribute to the planning of harm reduction interventions and actively respond to evolving local needs.

You will deliver harm reduction training to internal team members and externally as part of our core training offer.  We will also rely on you to build and maintain strong relationships with other local stakeholders.

In addition, you will stay abreast of the latest developments in the substance use field and use your initiative to identify and explore new opportunities within our integrated service structure.  You will need experience of the substance use sector and in depth knowledge of Harm Reduction as well as a proven ability to lead and develop projects.
