Description

At Via, our mission is to provide the best health and wellbeing support to as many people as possible, helping them to change their lives for the better.

Last year, we supported over 11,000 people across the UK affected by alcohol and drug use.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation.

We’re looking for a Young Person’s Practitioner for our West Berkshire Service

As a Young Person’s Practitioner, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred drug and alcohol support to young people and their families, carers and significant others. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, community partners and key stakeholders, you will provide early intervention, prevention, harm reduction and evidence based psychosocial interventions to promote positive outcomes, resilience and wellbeing.

You will play a key role in safeguarding young people, reducing risk-taking behaviours and supporting access to education, employment and wider health services. We are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual with experience of working with young people or within substance misuse services, who is committed to delivering safe, effective and inclusive care.

This is not just a job – you’ll help people rebuild their lives, reconnect with their family and friends, return to work or education, and much more.
