Description
Acorn is an innovative charity providing addiction recovery services that inspire and motivate change within communities, enabling individuals to achieve a life worth living.
Acorn is part of The Calico Group, a family of organisations with a shared purpose of making a real difference to people's lives.
As a Support Worker within our Residential Rehabilitation Service, you will support individuals throughout their recovery journey in a structured, therapeutic and recovery-focused environment.
Working in a person-centred and trauma-informed way, you will help people engage in treatment, recovery activities and mutual aid, while supporting them to improve their health, wellbeing, resilience and independence.
You will manage a caseload of individuals, complete assessments, support plans and risk management plans, and work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to support positive outcomes.
The role includes supporting individuals to engage with healthcare, wellbeing and recovery-related appointments, promoting safeguarding, managing risk and contributing to a safe, supportive and recovery-focused environment.
You will play an important role in helping people build confidence, develop recovery skills and work towards positive and lasting change.
