Would you like to join us in supporting those effected by drug and alcohol issues to improve their health and wellbeing?
Based within i-access Drug and Alcohol Service, this Recovery Practitioner role will offer support to adults who use our services in Surrey to help them achieve their recovery goals through 1:1s and structured groupwork packages.
This role will be specifically designed to support the team with capacity where possible.
You will:
- Deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to those and their significant others, including family members friends and carers, to facilitate positive outcomes.
- Manage a case load, coordinate and deliver initial assessments and evidence-based interventions primary brief interventions with the potential of a small, structured treatment caseload including risk assessment and care planning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all Via policies and Safeguarding principles.
- Effectively manage and lead on all online services provided by Via in partnership with i-access, including Women’s Smart meetings, Telephone assessments, Brief Intervention clients and online Surrey wide groups.
- The role is hybrid and not fully remote as there will be a requirement to attend Via team meetings, Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings (MDT’s) and other meetings that require in person attendance.
The role is Surrey wide; we have an admin base in Woking, Surrey. Although this role is a hybrid role there may be a requirement to travel across to i-access and other locations across Surrey.
