As a Recovery Practitioner within SPARK, Delphi’s Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service in Blackburn with Darwen, the successful candidate will provide specialist support , harm reduction interventions and treatment engagement to individuals using ketamine and other substances.

The post holder will develop expertise in the unique physical, psychological and social risks associated with ketamine use (such as bladder/kidney damage and cognitive impacts) dependency and mental health issues

This role focusses on delivering person centred interventions, raise awareness amongst staff and service users and contribute to improved health and recovery outcomes reducing harm, promoting recovery, improving physical and mental health outcomes and enabling service users to access appropriate treatment and community resources.

This is a really rewarding opportunity where you will be able to provide support to individuals though their recovery journeys, enabling real change. You will work alongside our team of Recovery Practitioners, Recovery Nurses, Prescribers, administrators as well as other members of the recovery collaborative.

As a Recovery Practitioner you will need to be able to work independently and within a team to ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for those our care. You will work closely with other services to ensure clients are able to achieve their recovery goals, ensuring that individuals are supported and motivated throughout their recovery journey.
