Description

We are looking for passionate and motivated Recovery Navigators to join our Dependency and Recovery Services team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals involved in the criminal justice system, supporting them to overcome barriers, achieve recovery goals, and reduce reoffending.

Working within a hybrid model, you will be part of a flexible, multidisciplinary team delivering services across a cluster of community locations.

You will manage a diverse caseload of adult male prison leavers and individuals subject to community orders through Probation Services, providing person-centred support throughout their recovery journey.

As a Recovery Navigator, you will complete comprehensive assessments, develop collaborative action plans, and deliver structured one-to-one, group, and virtual interventions.

You will build trusted relationships with service users, helping them navigate treatment pathways, access appropriate support services, and remain engaged with recovery-focused interventions.

The role involves working with individuals whose substance use may be accompanied by mental health challenges, social exclusion, and other complex needs.

You will provide practical guidance, motivational support, and continuity of care while encouraging engagement with statutory and community-based services.

You will work closely with probation staff, treatment providers, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies to ensure individuals receive the support they need to achieve positive outcomes.

Accurate case recording, effective risk management, and maintaining high standards of service delivery will be central to your role.

There may also be opportunities to develop as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific areas of need or vulnerable groups, providing specialist advice and support to colleagues across the wider team.
