The role will involve the recruitment, training and co-ordinating a team of peer volunteers who will target individuals at risk of discontinuing structured treatment, individuals  who are new to treatment services or recently relapsed.

The coordinator also facilitates peer involvement Recovery Cities initiatives promoting progress and active participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and  train  a team of peer volunteers
• Provide supervision  and coordination  to the Team of volunteers
• Help  peers contact and support  a range of  service users  in structured  and unstructured treatment .
• Collaborate with the  ETE worker to support  peers  progression towards employment and training opportunities.
• Take the lead  in supporting Recovery Cities initiatives in Leeds
• Maintain a commitment to personal and professional development within the  role.
