Outreach Practitioner

Based within the core West Berkshire integrated Drug and Alcohol Service, this specialist practitioner role will lead on outreach provision to support greater access opportunities for under-served and hard-to-reach communities within the County.

The role will involve:

• To deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to clients and their significant others, including family members, friends and carers.
• Delivering prevention work in a variety of community settings to prevent people from engaging in substance misusing and risk-taking behaviours.
• Develop strong links with a wide range of community groups in order to encourage and promote access into services for hard-to-reach and under-served groups
• To work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all WDP policies and Safeguarding principles
