The responsibilities of this role are to design and coordinate recovery and pre-recovery groups for the Torbay Drug and Alcohol service.

This role requires an extensive knowledge of psychosocial interventions including counselling, mindfulness, understanding of mutual aid groups such as SMART and wider knowledge of motivational interviewing.

You will also be expected to deliver support and initiatives in the local areas to establish visible recovery and increase opportunities for service users to achieve sustainable outcomes. Promote and encourage peers to be involved in the shaping of the service and identify other support services and activities in the local community.
