The DBST Support Coordinator role exists to support the clinical team in delivering a safe and effective blood borne virus screening programme via Dry Blood Spot Testing (DBST) to clients accessing Horizon services.

To be successful in this role, you'll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English. Experience working directly with service users in a health or social care setting is essential.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are key, along with the ability to work well in a team. You should be detail-oriented, empathetic, compassionate, and able to demonstrate personal resilience. While not required, knowledge of blood-borne virus testing and treatment would be a valuable asset.
