Our Coventry service has a great opportunity for a Criminal Justice Engagement Worker to join our enthusiastic team at CGL Coventry
About The Role:
- Conduct DRR/ATR/MHTR assessment and write reports within agreed deadlines.
- Liaise with probation and court staff to ensure robust communication.
- Provide timely updates relating to DRR/ATR/MHTR clients in treatment.
- Act as a SPOC (single point of contact) in the courts for drug and alcohol related treatment queries/issues.
- Provide brief training on treatment and pathways for CJ professionals.
- Act as a SPOC for HMP Prison releases ensuring a seamless pathway for individuals back into the community.
- Develop strong partnerships and joint working within the local courts, probation services, and other Criminal Justice partnership agencies.
- Provide training on treatment and pathways for CJ professionals and work as the link between the courts and substance misuse service.
