We have a vacancy for a Children & Young Adults Intervention Worker in our All Age Substance use service in Barnsley.

The service provides Universal prevention and education, Targeted early interventions and support, Harm reduction, outreach and training, and Specialist treatment and support to individuals under the age of 18.

Working one to one with young people, you will be undertaking comprehensive assessments and care planned interventions using a person-centred approach whilst holding a varied caseload based on vulnerability and risk.

The role requires excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with young people, families and other professionals ensuring a holistic and strength-based approach to meeting young people’s needs.
