Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1,400 volunteers donated over a quarter of a million hours of their time to our organisation. Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers?

LATEST VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES (JUNE)
Harm Reduction Peer Educator, Edinburgh
CGL Harm Reduction Peer Educators are a great community asset and will complement the existing provision of overdose awareness, injecting equipment and naloxone training. Under the scheme, Harm Reduction Peer Educators (HRPE) will make direct supplies of naloxone and injecting equipment to individuals they have trained/educated using the CGL Supply Framework.
Volunteer Reception Support, London
You will be the first point of contact within the service greeting all visitors promptly in a friendly and courteous manner. Duties for the post include dealing with initial queries, coordinating appointments, and sign-posting to support available within the service and the community.
Volunteer Family and Carers, London
Join the Newham Rise Family and Carers Team. As our Family & Carer’s Group Work Volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the group, alongside the planning and preparation of the group. This will include promoting the group to service users, reminding them of up-and-coming sessions and engaging with those who do not attend.
Promotion & Engagement Volunteer, Sheffield
The Corner provides support and treatment to young people under 18 in the Sheffield area who are experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol. You’ll assist with creating and sharing promotional materials, help keep our social media platforms up to date and contribute to community engagement activities to actively promote the service we offer.
Volunteer Recovery Support, London
You will be working in close collaboration with the team, assisting them in their caseload management, and supporting the service user through all aspects of their treatment journey. This can include completing assessments, supporting people to attend community and inpatient detoxes, supporting group work and undertaking one-to-one work.
Service User Representative, London
Are you passionate about representing service users' views and opinions in a positive and structured manner? Do you want to ensure that service users get their voices heard in the planning and delivery of services. In this role you will work in partnership with staff to improve services, lead on service user forums and meetings, be accessible to all service users attending the project, and identify ways in which service users can get involved.
Individual Placement Support Volunteer, Huddersfield
You will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. You will be identifying suitable employers for our service users, matching individuals to places, and developing our pool of cooperative employers in the local area. You will also attend community events such as job fairs to identify new employers and partners.
Volunteer Recovery Cafe Support, Huntingdon
We believe groups are a great way to engage and connect with those who use our services. As a Recovery Cafe Support Volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting and co-facilitating our recovery cafes. You will be provided with training and supported to eventually be able to take the lead in delivering some of the recovery cafes and provide support to clients within the group setting.
Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps, from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers, from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors, each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.
