Come along to discuss how to better support individuals struggling with alcohol use and homelessness through improved treatment and policy.
Join us for a hybrid dissemination event hosted by the UCL Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group, where we will present findings from two recent studies exploring alcohol use among people experiencing homelessness in England.
The first study reassessed national estimates of alcohol use by including this often-overlooked population and examined their access to treatment services. The second study investigated common trajectories of alcohol use disorder and identified key barriers and facilitators to accessing support services among people experiencing homelessness.
The event will feature presentations from the research team alongside invited external speakers, offering insights into treatment needs and policy options. Attendees joining in person at the UCL Institute of Education will also be invited to stay for networking and lunch. An agenda will be shared closer to the date.
This is a free hybrid event with both in person and online attendance available.
