Bristol Beacon, Trenchard Street BS1 5ARJoin us for a showcase of performances from Bristol Recovery Orchestra and Rising Voices Recovery Choir, joined by musicians from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and very special special guest, local trumpet legend, Pete Judge.
Free entry but we welcome donations us to continue the life changing work we do with people in recovery from alcohol and other drug use.

LondonThe Alcohol Education Trust and The DSM Foundation charities with 20 years of experience between them of supporting teachers and professionals with resources and training to deliver effective alcohol and drugs education, are running a half day of CPD open freely to all. The seminar will support teachers and health/youth professionals across the Borough to equip young people with the skills and resilience to stay safe around alcohol and drugs.
This half day of activities will divide into three themes: Early Intervention and Prevention approaches for Years 7-9, harm reduction support for Years 10-13 and support for children with additional learning needs and those more vulnerable to alcohol and drug related harms.

You’ll have the opportunity to hear from inspirational and local speakers from your community. You can also learn more about becoming a mentor, supporting people through our substance misuse services to help them move towards recovery.
**The event is aimed at professionals and organisations in Birmingham who work with vulnerable people accessing drug and alcohol support, or may want to access this support**
