Ultimately, there is a lack of gender specific information, resources and services for women who use drugs.
This online event will highlight some of the key issues facing women who use drugs in our society, and showcase examples from Scotland and internationally of ways to work with women to reduce the harms they experience.

Our eleventh webinar hears from those at the cutting edge of experience: from the lived experience campaigner Peter Krykant whose efforts focus on those at the hard end of chronic drug problems, Kevin Owens a senior practitioner and social worker from North Lanarkshire, and Heather Still a researcher and practitioner from Inverclyde. Chaired by Kate Ramsden UNISON Aberdeenshire and union National Executive member, this hour long webinar will offer the opportunity for some reflection and discussion.

In this partnership training developed and delivered with Scottish Drugs Forum, workers will improve their understanding of and skills in responding to substance use for survivors of sexual abuse.
The training will take place over two 3.5 hour long sessions on zoom. Please note that participants must attend both sessions.
