On the 8th June 2023, the Drugs Research Network Scotland (DRNS) will be hosting this event showcasing research which has been supported by the network through its current funding phase. The session will focus on knowledge exchange and provide opportunity for academic researchers, practitioners and clinicians, third sector representatives, and people with living/lived experience to hear from researchers across the field working on a range of research projects as well as to come together and network.

This conference focuses on improving services and outcomes for people who self harm, and implementing and monitoring adherence to the NEW NICE Guideline: Self-harm: assessment, management and preventing recurrence which was published on 7th September 2022.

In this conference, through case studies and expert advice we will explore how we can support people who self-harm by ensuring a compassionate approach, understanding the common causes and drivers, as well as developing safety plans with a path to recovery.

The London Joint Working Group on Substance Use and Hepatitis C (LJWG) annual conference will bring together professionals and patient advocates working in hepatitis C care in London.

The conference will be on Friday 9th June at the NCVO Conference Centre (Society Building, 8 All Saints Street, London, N1 9RL). It will celebrate the huge achievements across London so far towards eliminating hepatitis C, and will focus on what more needs to be done to achieve and maintain elimination in the critical years ahead.

Keynote speakers include leaders from the hepatitis C field past and present, including both current and former chief executive of The Hepatitis C Trust, Rachel Halford and Charles Gore, and Professor David Nutt, the first chair of the LJWG.
