Description

At Cranstoun, we empower people and empower change. We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to lead on the delivery of Buvidal (prolonged-release buprenorphine) treatment across Worcestershire—supporting clients, including those in the criminal justice system.

This is a new role and a unique opportunity to take the lead on an innovative and expanding treatment pathway.

You’ll work closely with a dedicated Buvidal keyworker and the service’s clinical teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care focussed on Buvidal treatment and health interventions for those leaving prison.

Your role will include in-reach work into prisons, ensuring continuity of care from custody to community, and delivering a range of health interventions including alcohol detox support, harm reduction, and health promotion.

You’ll also contribute to service development—helping shape treatment pathways, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement through audits and best practice. If you’re passionate about making a difference and confident in leading clinical care, we’d love to hear from you.

This is more than a clinical role—it’s a chance to live our values every day:

  • Ambitious: You’ll drive forward innovative treatment pathways, always striving for the best outcomes.
  • Collaborative: You’ll work hand-in-hand with keyworkers, prescribers, prison teams, and partners to ensure seamless, person-centred care.
  • Compassionate: You’ll support people with empathy and understanding, meeting them where they are and walking alongside them on their recovery journey.
  • Creative: You’ll help shape and evolve our Buvidal and alcohol treatment pathways, finding new ways to improve care and engagement.
  • Respectful: You’ll honour the dignity, strengths, and choices of every individual you support.

For more information about the role please contact the Criminal Justice Operations Manager sfarnell@cranstoun.org.uk

This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Interviews to be conducted on 16 & 22 July 2025 - please express a preference on your application.

We welcome applications from all sections of the community. Working towards equality.
