We're looking for a dedicated Custody Navigator to play a pivotal role in our mission to support adult service users to reduce their likelihood of re-offending.
Waythrough’s Custody Navigator's deliver support to adults that have been brought into custody due to an index offense relating to serious violence, domestic violence or substance misuse.
The post holder will carry out assessments and deliver brief interventions within the custody setting focusing on areas of the service users life that may be contributing to their offending behaviours.
Please note the post is based across four Custody Suites; Newcastle, Sunderland, Wallsend and South Shields
The post holder will signpost and refer on to specialist services to ensure the service users can achieve positive outcomes post-custody.
