We are offering an exciting opportunity to join Horizon, a trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary substance misuse service supporting Blackpool residents with their drug and alcohol use.

Delivered across two sites, Winstone House and Lighthouse (our alcohol-specific service) Horizon works in close partnership with a range of agencies to provide compassionate, person-centred care.

We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Counsellor to provide 1-to-1 therapy and group therapeutic interventions to individuals affected by substance use. This role involves delivering structured, evidence-based interventions that help people build psychological resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward in their recovery journey.

You’ll work closely with the Counselling and Interventions Team and other professionals to carry out assessments, contribute to care planning, and deliver high-quality therapeutic support. There is also scope to help shape and develop the wider psychosocial offer across the service.
