Over the last three years, the Women’s Rough Sleeping Census, led by Single Homeless Project and Solace, has exposed a deeply troubling reality: women experiencing homelessness are routinely overlooked, undercounted, and underserved. The latest findings from the September 2024 census are stark – there are over ten times more women sleeping rough in England than official government data suggests.
