6:00 pm: Take Drugs Seriously: Training Event
Join us for a free interactive training session for anyone wishing to learn more about how you can get involved in reforming the UK’s drug laws.
We will be looking at how we can campaign together to show our politicians that the public increasingly supports reform. We will provide you with all the skills you need to campaign for change.
The event will include short presentations from Jane Slater, Transform’s Deputy CEO, Hilary Mills and Dave Tebbet campaigners with Anyone’s Child
The training will be suitable for new activists. It will cover the basics of how to confidently make the case for legal regulation, how to find common ground with your MP, linking policy to the issues that matter to people, and how to respond to challenging concerns.
The session will be participatory, and we will be providing practical advice and materials to use when campaigning.
