UK Patient ConferenceMedical Cannabis Awareness Week 2022UK Patient ConferenceMedical Cannabis Awareness Week 2022 Friday, 4 November 2022 Oval Space To coincide with Medical Cannabis Awareness Week, we’re excited to announce the first Medical Cannabis Patient Conference in the UK this year, hosted by Drug Science and MedcanSupport. This daytime event will be a chance for the medical cannabis patient and prescriber community to come together and celebrate one another’s journeys. The UK Patient Conference is open to the general public, created for medical cannabis patients and anyone interested in learning more about cannabis-based medicines. This way we hope to bridge the wide gap between cannabis industry and recreational-focused events. It is intended to become an annual get-together for our community that will help put Medical Cannabis Awareness Week, on the world’s radar. |

10:00 am: Continuity of Care in drug/alcohol treatment – review findings & top tips10:00 am: Continuity of Care in drug/alcohol treatment – review findings & top tips – Tue, 29 November 2022 The webinar is for providers, commissioners and policy makers interested in finding out what the community treatment providers and their partners did which resulted in improved performance in their area. 2:00 pm: Treatment, recovery and Integrated Care Systems – what does it all mean?2:00 pm: Treatment, recovery and Integrated Care Systems – what does it all mean? – Online Integration is an easy word easy to say but a harder concept to deliver. People struggling with their use of drugs or alcohol need no lessons from policy wonks on the importance of better integrating health and social care services. Integrated Care Systems now exist in law. But what does that mean for drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services, the public health commissioners in local government who fund them or the people who they support? Is this just another health reform that won’t have much impact on us? Can charity providers thrive in the new environment? How are ICS reforms actually unfolding at the local level? The future has arrived – it’s just not very evenly distributed! Join an expert panel for 90 minutes of thoughts, reflections and debate on this fascinating topic. |
