    As a Violence Reduction Peer Mentor you will support our clients engagement, providing role modelling and promoting a pathway of change within the East Kent Community Drug and Alcohol Service. You will support the delivery of our new innovative mentoring programme, providing a range of one to one mentoring to our clients as well as co-facilitating groups, seeking to promote change. Your role will be essential in supporting service users with their confidence and empowering them to turn away from a lifestyle of crime and addiction


    To be successful in this role you must of had personal experience of the criminal justice system. If in recovery you must be a minimum of 6 months away from addiction, you will be passionate and committed to supporting others and committed to your own learning.


    All volunteers will receive training and induction prior to being able to start in their role and will receive support throughout their placement.
