Via is an exceptional charity, with people at the heart of everything that we do. Over the last three decades we have developed and refined our expertise in substance use and expanded our services to include smoking cessation, employment, sexual health, youth services and mental health services.

Our most recent annual review provides a summary of the work that we are doing and the impact that we have made. We continue to grow and develop this reach and impact.

We don’t stand still. In 2024-25 we are expanding further, reaching more people through new service types and in new geographical areas. Notably, we are introducing national resources such as the UK’s first women-only inpatient detoxification site (opening in 2025).

Due to our growth and development, we are seeking to increase the number of trustees on our Board, augmenting the expertise of our experienced and established Board members. With several Trustees reaching the end of their tenure over the next 18-months, we are keen to effectively succession plan and build on their legacy.

I am therefore delighted to be recruiting new Trustees to support our continued development and growth.
