Working alongside Reed in Partnership, we will be delivering the HMPPS Activity Hubs contracts in London. Based in Lewisham and Croydon we are looking for a Support Worker who have the desired skills and experience to support men and women after release from Custody whilst on supervision licence or serving community sentences.
This role will be a Fixed Term Contract covering the next 9 months with the possibility of extension.
The purpose of the Activity Hubs will be to assist participants not to re-offend, alongside the key aim of European Social Fund (ESF) to move individuals closer to the labour market. The Hubs will provide safe and supportive spaces, offering a range of interventions and activities that aim to engage harder to reach individuals, particularly those who face multiple barriers to employment and would benefit from further provision accessed on a voluntary basis.
Support Workers will be expected to have the necessary skills to be able to develop a comprehensive action plan, facilitate structured one to one sessions and group sessions, and be responsible for the thorough case management of service users on their caseload.
