The Base, Kirklees is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Services Manager to join our team.

We are a confidential drug and alcohol support service for young people up to the age of 21, dedicated to helping them overcome challenges and build brighter futures. Our approach is holistic, compassionate, and rooted in partnership — we work closely with local agencies to provide the best possible support to those who need it most.

Our work includes specialist one-to-one interventions, brief and targeted group sessions, outreach, training, and vital support for children and young people affected by the substance use of a loved one (Hidden Harm). We don’t just address problems — we empower young people to find stability, confidence, and hope.

As Services Manager, you will play a key leadership role within our Children & Young People’s (CYP) Leadership Team, helping to shape a society where all young people can be happy, healthy, and safe.

Working in close collaboration with your Regional Head of CYP Services and the wider leadership team, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas — from service performance and staff management to budget oversight and stakeholder engagement.
