Clouds House is one of Forward’s residential substance misuse treatment centres in East Knoyle, Wiltshire.

Clouds House delivers a structured interpersonal and 12 Step treatment programme, designed to help those with substance and behavioural addiction maintain abstinence and develop long term sustainable recovery.

The Recovery Support Worker will provide support to the clients regarding welfare and finance matters including education and support around benefits, assisting with housing and second stage treatment applications, sourcing volunteering opportunities, connecting clients with aftercare packages and assisting them with debt support, legal processes and any other welfare matters.

This role will also involve engaging in some group work and assisting with the facilitation of a welfare hub where clients welfare needs are supported as well as running treatment preparatory groups to support and hold clients on a waiting list for admission to Clouds House.

You will also be expected to work very closely Forward Trust’s Recovery Support Team to ensure that Recovery Support Aftercare is provided to all clients in line with client need and agreed targets.

The role will involve forging and maintaining good working relationships with external agencies including care teams, benefits agencies, housing providers and other treatment providers.
