The Recovery Practitioner Homelessness Specialist role focuses on supporting Rough Sleepers as well as individuals housed by London Borough of Merton’s Homeless Person’s Unit, delivering psychosocial treatment and supporting those individuals to achieve recovery and through this mechanism maintain their accommodation.

This role will work closely with multiple partner agencies within the council and other third sector organisations.

The Recovery Practitioner Homelessness Specialist will also conduct outreach to support those individuals who may struggle to attend the service, attending satellites across the borough, conducting home visits, and delivering assessments and psychosocial interventions in diverse environments.

We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and homelessness.
