Would you like to join us in supporting those effected by drug and alcohol issues to improve their health and wellbeing?

Based within the core West Berkshire integrated Drug and Alcohol Service, this specialist practitioner role will lead on outreach provision to support greater access opportunities for under-served and hard to reach communities within the County.

The role will involve:

• delivering excellent drug and alcohol services to clients and their significant others, including family members, friends and carers.
• delivering prevention work in a variety of community settings to prevent people from engaging in substance misusing and risk-taking behaviours.
• developing strong links with a wide range of community groups to encourage and promote access into services for hard to reach and under-served groups.
• working collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all VIA policies and Safeguarding principles

The core hours of this role will be Monday- Friday 9am until 5pm, but there may be some occasional out of hours work which would be considered on a rota basis.
