Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Coordinator to support Humankind’s Drug and alcohol service within Reconnected to Health at HMP Deerbolt.
HMP Deerbolt situated in Barnard Castle has recently undergone an important transition from a Young Offenders institute to one that now provides support to men of all ages, providing drug and alcohol support and opiate substitute therapy (OST).
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will hold a caseload and provide 1:1 support for our service users, from brief interventions through to structured treatment, including groups to ensure that every recovery journey is tailored to individual needs and priorities.
You will take a “whole person” holistic approach to ensure that every service user’s package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person.
You will work alongside the Service Manager, other Recovery coordinators, a Family support worker, Support worker, Reconnect Navigator and Building Recovery worker.
If you feel that you would fit with our values & ethos, are passionate about supporting people, but maybe don’t feel you have the experience required, talk to us about your transferrable skills. For the right people, we can provide development to help you to realise your potential.
