As an Acorn Peer Support Worker within the LSCFT (community mental health team or home treatment team) across the Fylde Coast, you will work closely with service users primarily experiencing mental health issues as well as other social, environmental and substance misuse issues.
As a Peer Support Worker you will offer your expertise using your own lived experience to support their recovery journey to ‘a life worth living’. Your role will involve as providing support to patients on the community mental health teams caseloads using a multi-disciplinary approach, support an individual’s journey by providing practical and emotional support with a view to freeing up service demand, as well as being part of a passionate, driven and connected Peer Support network. This is a really exciting and rewarding role where you’ll be able to positively impact people’s future, improving their prospects and their quality of life.
You will be based at either The Gateway at Blackpool Football Stadium, or Mountcroft resource centre in Fleetwood or Woodlands resource centre in Lytham St Annes.
