At Turning Point, we support people across the UK with mental health issues. As a Peer Recovery Worker, you’ll make a real difference to their lives, as you work closely with residents to help them achieve their potential.
At Milestone, we provide a residential service that supports and assists people with a forensic mental health history. Using the 'Recovery' approach, we support them to take an active part in their own care, enabling them to successfully integrate back into the community.
As a Peer Recovery Worker, with lived experience, you’ll make a real difference to residents' lives as you improve their daily living skills. By providing a person–centred care, you’ll deliver a range of support through 121 sessions and group work.
Ultimately, you’ll play a vital role in helping them to gain skills and coping strategies, all while encouraging positive change and independence. You will be working closely with a team of Recovery Workers and Project Workers, as well as site based specialists, such as a Dual Diagnosis Lead, an Occupational Therapist, and a Resettlement Co-ordinator to ensure residents are provided with the optimum level of support.
The role requires you to work day/late shifts Monday to Sunday throughout the year.
