We are The Forward Trust (formerly RAPt and Blue Sky), the social enterprise with charitable status that empowers people to break the often interlinked cycles of crime and addiction to move forward with their lives. 

Based in Wickford, Essex you will deliver the M-PACT programme for families with children, whose parents have substance misuse issues, across the county.

You will liaise with partner agencies to:

• generate and receive appropriate referrals of families;
• assess families’ suitability for the M-PACT programme;
• to deliver regular programmes of M-PACT in sites across the county on an annual basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience of working with families in a community or residential care or support service.
• Experience of carrying out needs and risk assessments
• Experience of facilitating groups and workshops
• Experience of facilitating structured family meetings
• An awareness of the 12 step Programme
• A knowledge of motivation enhancement and cognitive-behavioural interventions
• Ability to be empathic with clients whilst at the same time maintaining clear professional boundaries.

This role can be full or part time depending on the candidates preference.
