Acorn is an innovative charity that provides addiction recovery services to inspire and motivate change within communities by enabling individuals to achieve a life worth living.
As a Housing Support Worker based in Lancaster, you will be responsible for supporting people to improve their independence and promoting positive change in their lives by encouraging and empowering a better quality of life, health and well-being.
You will provide support to people in recovery from substance misuse covering ten outcome areas that have been found to be essential in supporting people to maintain a life free from drugs and alcohol. This will include advice and guidance around housing, life skills, finances, physical and mental health.
This is a part-time role working 15 hours a week.
