This is an exciting opportunity to fill a new role delivering low-intensity interventions that support people to reduce or stop their use of alcohol or drugs and promote access to other services and support to improve their physical and emotional wellbeing.
Via deliver a range of services supporting the health and wellbeing of our diverse communities in the London Borough of Redbridge - including adult and young people’s drug and alcohol services, sexual health, smoking cessation, and outreach.
We are looking for someone with an interest in supporting people to make changes that will improve their health and wellbeing, particularly their use of alcohol or drugs.
Based in our psychosocial team, this new role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.
The main purpose of this role is to promote the benefits of cutting down or quitting alcohol or drug use, and to deliver lower-intensity evidence-based psychosocial behaviour change interventions to people who are assessed as lower risk but would like professional support and guidance to make changes to their alcohol or drug use as part of a healthy lifestyle.
