Reporting to the Executive Director of Fundraising & Communications (EDFC), to develop strategies and deliver plans to raise funds from a variety of sources to support areas of The Forward Trust's work to promote or mission and grow the opportunity of recovery so that anyone, whatever their background has the chance to change their lives.
To create fundraising proposals to support innovation in service delivery, working with colleagues in research, services, and other teams to develop compelling bids, and to support the wider Directorate's work - generating insight, innovation, income, and impact – to grow our services and the number of people that we reach and support. Sustaining support with funders and developing long standing relationships with funders, through high quality reporting processes and stewardship.
To provide effective management of the Fundraising Team and external providers, helping drive awareness, and support for The Forward Trust and its work and delivering the objectives set
Must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning Fundraising and charitable income generation. Should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.
