Humankind is recruiting for an exciting new role of External Affairs Manager.
This role is brand new and comes at a crucial time for the charity, having launched our new strategy Being Human in April 2023. The manager will lead Humankind’s External Affairs activity by developing and delivering a varied programme of external affairs work, drawing on our operational excellence and informed by the experiences of the people we support, as part of the delivery of Being Human.
The External Affairs Manager will report to the Director of Communication and External Affairs and form part of a management group within the media and communications team alongside peer managers leading internal communications, external communications and the marketing and communications work connecting Humankind the national charity with our regions and local services.
They will also work with our Research and Development Coordinator, Life Experience Council, and other key internal stakeholders.
