SIG Equinox – Brighton Women’s Service is a dedicated, female-only residential project offering varying levels of support—low, medium, and high—to women who have experienced homelessness, substance use, involvement with the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, and domestic abuse.

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive environment where women can recover and rebuild their lives, empowering them to achieve long-term stability and well-being.

We are currently seeking a Deputy Service Manager for our Women's Service. We are looking for someone who is truly committed to the rights of women. This role offers the opportunity to support and manage our team, driving high-quality, trauma-informed care for our residents.

The service provides a much-needed safe space and support for women to feel empowered in their healing journey and to feel secure in their independence, strength, and skills.

The successful candidate will help lead the service, which spans over 2 buildings, and will develop their team, consisting of support mentors and family workers. We are seeking a passionate, driven, and motivated individual to lead this service in a trauma-informed and inclusive way.

Please note, due to the nature of the service, it is an occupational requirement that the post holder is female and the post is therefore exempt from the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 in terms of Schedule 9, Part 1, and Paragraph 1 of the Act.
