    GamCare is the UK’s leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling-related harms.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for GamCare to appoint a qualified Clinical Psychologist with significant experience of providing strategic and operational leadership to staff teams within addiction (behavioural) services in the NHS, Local Government, Private or Third Sector. You will provide clinical expertise, guidance and supervision to GamCare Treatment Practitioners, as well as to our network of partner agencies, in relation to gambling related harm and psychological interventions. 

    You will also undertake specialist assessment and formulation of intervention for complex cases identified across the treatment network. In addition to working in collaboration with GamCare’s Senior Clinical Management team and our NHS and Primary Care colleagues, whilst also assisting with clinical audit, service evaluation, delivery of workshops and report writing.

    As a strategic adviser on quality assurance matters your expertise will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive services for GamCare directly delivered services and across our Partner network.

    The job is temporarily home based due to COVID-19 restrictions. In the future you will be required to work in London for two days per week, with a blend of home working and travel to services across the UK
