Description

We’re looking to appoint an experienced Addiction Therapist to join our established clinical team within a quasi-residential treatment setting in Oxford.

Working within an abstinence-based, trauma-informed, biopsychosocial model and a strong 12-Step ethos, you’ll play a key role in delivering group therapy, psycho-educational workshops, and one-to-one counselling to support long-term recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate group therapy and psycho-educational workshops
• Deliver 1:1 counselling aligned with individual treatment plans
• Contribute to care planning and progress reviews
• Maintain accurate and professional clinical records
• Collaborate closely with therapists and recovery staff
• Support clients through complex emotional processes using a trauma-informed approach

About You:
• Fully qualified Addiction Therapist and member of an ethical body (BACP, NCPS, UKCP or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within an addiction treatment setting
• Skilled in group facilitation and managing interpersonal dynamics
• Compassionate, ethical, and professionally resilient

Desirable Experience:
• Integrative approaches (MET, CBT, DBT)
• Familiarity with 12-Step facilitation and relapse prevention
• Experience within residential or quasi-residential environments
• Transferable DBS and personal indemnity insurance
