The Drug Policy Alliance Network (DPA Network) is the nation's leading organization promoting policy alternatives to the drug war that are grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights. DPA Network is actively involved in the legislative process and seeks to roll back the excesses of the drug war, block new, harmful initiatives, and promote sensible drug policy reforms. 

Harm reduction in action

Many syringe access programs have expanded their reach and efficacy by instituting peer-delivered syringe exchange models. These programs train peer educators from at-risk populations to distribute syringes and inform others in their community about safe practices.
